Responsibilities

•    Responsible for driving a truck to move and/or locate trailers while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations. 
•    Responsible for maintaining and updating our yard management system through a computer/tablet in the truck. 
•    Responsible for the inspection of trucks and trailers for defects prior to trips and the submission of reports indicating their conditions. 
•    Responsible for the completion of pre/post safety inspections on all equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. 
•    Responsible for timely reporting of problems in work area to appropriate personnel.
•    Responsible for adhering to company policy and procedures. 
•    Assist in establishing and maintaining safety, housekeeping, and preventive guidelines in assigned areas. 
 

Education

Required Skills and Experience

•    Current Class A CDL license required. 
•    Valid driver’s license for Kentucky required.  
•    Current D.O.T. physical required. 
•    Minimum of 2 years driving experience required. 
•    Ability to work 10 or 12 hour shifts.
