Summary

​​The primary function of this position is to assign work to maintenance staff and assure that the facilities overall maintenance, including equipment is in safe working order.  This includes providing scheduled preventative maintenance.​

Responsibilities

Coach, mentor and develop ​ Maintenance Personnel​.  

​​Responsible for creating and managing an annual operating budget that promotes growth and profitability.​ 

Manage day to day activities of maintenance staff by planning each day’s workflow through assigned areas and communicating to maintenance team.  

Responsible for overall maintenance of all facility and facility equipment, including developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment for interior/exterior of facility.  

Oversee and monitor all purchasing within department and participate in budget preparation and day to day expenditures.  

Upkeep and testing of all Fire Protection and Security devices.  

Monitor and plan work to determine staffing demands.  

Adhere to and communicate company policy and procedures with associates.  

Responsible to coordinate with outside Contractors and Vendors regarding Project Management  

Assist Facilities Manager in Large Scale Projects  

Coordinate internal projects, duties, and repairs across multiple shifts  

Evaluate information and or break downs to determine an efficient plan of action to ensure safe and efficient equipment  

Monitor work levels and review work performance and perform Performance Appraisals. 

Education

  • Associate's Degree Required
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Required Skills and Experience

Associate degree in industrial technology or equivalent work experience.  

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role  

Certified Electrician  

PLC Control Programming Experience  

Fire protection monitoring and testing experience  

Automated/Robot Equipment Experience  

Data Communication Experience  

Knowledge OSHA 10, NEC, NFPA 70E Procedures and Practices  

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels associates within the organization  

Excellent problem solving, decision making and planning skills  

Welding Certificate
